AGIS has obtained ISO 50001:2018 certification for its Energy Management System. This certification reinforces AGIS’s commitment to sustainability, conservation of natural resources and reduction of CO2 emissions. Through this energy management and continuous improvement system, AGIS has established the requirements for making systematic improvements to process and usage of energy which will result in increasing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact. AGIS has set its targets to reduce consumption of electricity and natural gas by implementing technological and management improvements, such as replacing the conventional lights with energy efficient LED lights and increasing VVVF Drives, improvements in the operational control, as well as employee training on energy efficiency.
